How Do Indoor Solar Wind Chimes Work?

Light reaches the solar cell on top of the chime and powers the movement of the striker. The striker gently taps three tuned aluminum rods, producing pleasant, intermittent chime sounds. Brighter light generally creates more frequent movement and chiming.
